Let's Have a Career Coffee Chat

For those of you who are unfamiliar with my podcast, Career Coffee Chats is a down-to-earth career and wellbeing podcast for everyday people. It features a diverse range of guests sharing their career journeys and insights, exploring topics from the 'world of work' and beyond.

I am so proud of the series I started during the first round of COVID-19 lockdowns, especially as I produced it entirely by myself! As of this year, I have been privileged to have interviewed 30 different people.

Career Coffee Chats helped me to grow my brand as a Career Coach and Facilitator, which has now morphed into Tui Career Consulting. It is now with deep gratitude that I reintroduce some of special this content with you all. Happy listening x

In this episode I chat with Anna Fleming who works as a Psychotherapist and educator in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland. We first met as trainee phone counsellors at Lifeline back in 2008, and we've been close friends ever since!

Chat highlights…

  • Anna talks about her early influences and how her family shaped her upbringing.

  • She explores how her experiences as a social worker and volunteer phone counsellor led her to retrain as a psychotherapist.

  • She shares her passion for Māori mental health and explains why psychotherapy has long-term benefits for supporting Māori.
